12 Days of Visual Novels: Princess Evangile

Blog_Evangile

Hello, everyone! Kaitsu here to bring you a look back at Princess Evangile for the Twelve Days of Visual Novels!

For anyone who may not know, Princess Evangile tells the story of Okonogi Masaya, a young man who suddenly transfers into the all-girls school, Vincennes. The staff and students are very anti-male, and sees him as a threat to their otherwise pure and pristine lifestyle. The only student who has an even an ounce of common sense, and might be a little too trusting, would be Rousenin Rise, the chairwoman’s granddaughter. By placing yourself in Masaya’s shoes, you spend an entire school year with the students of Vincennes, and learn about the young women enrolled there. It’s cute, fun, mostly lighthearted, and the art is gorgeous! If this sounds like it would be right up your alley, then I highly recommend reading it! As for my involvement with the game, in addition to beta testing, I was given the opportunity to edit and decensor art assets for the release, and design the Limited Edition hardcopy. It was definitely a learning experience from start to finish, but I hope I did well!

Also, here’s a special sneak peek of the limited edition box~

  1. Eagerly awaiting my hardcopy + wallscroll bundle.

  2. Easily my favorite of MangaGamer’s 2015 releases. I liked several of the characters a lot. The art and voice acting was great. I bought it digitally and also ordered the hardcopy. Never in my life have I ever wanted a game’s expansion more. Not just visual novels or eroges, but any genre of game. I really hope we get more Moonstone games in the future.

  3. I really really loved this game, the character writing is excellent, and while the overall story is put on the back burner significantly after the common route, that just gives the characters more room to shine. I’m really really looking forward to W Happiness, I hope we get more news of it soon! Also thinking about grabbing that wallscroll.

  4. So do we get a shipping number? I ordered mine on Dec 10 and got nothing. I saw the tweet that they sent them out already.

    • You should be getting a tracking number sometime this week. If you don’t get one by Monday, please contact our support (support@mangagamer.com) and someone will be able to assist you.
