We’ve come to you with an apology today––some of our users let us know that despite being unsubscribed, they received our latest newsletter on May 19th, 2016.
The newsletter that went out on May 19th was sent to all users by mistake. Our newsletter utilizes the same mailing system as our user notification system, in the event we need to communicate emergency information to our users. Over the past year, intermittent issues like timeouts and database errors may have occasionally caused some unsubscribed users to mistakenly receive our newsletter.
We just wanted to let you know we’re putting the entire system under a full review to prevent issues of this nature from happening again.
