Apology Regarding May 19th Newsletter

sorry

We’ve come to you with an apology today––some of our users let us know that despite being unsubscribed, they received our latest newsletter on May 19th, 2016.

The newsletter that went out on May 19th was sent to all users by mistake. Our newsletter utilizes the same mailing system as our user notification system, in the event we need to communicate emergency information to our users. Over the past year, intermittent issues like timeouts and database errors may have occasionally caused some unsubscribed users to mistakenly receive our newsletter.

We just wanted to let you know we’re putting the entire system under a full review to prevent issues of this nature from happening again. Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you receive a newsletter by accident in the future. Thank you again for all the help. You can always contact our support team at support@mangagamer.com to check if your account is unsubscribed, to report an issue, or if you require any other assistance with our service.

Kind Regards,
MangaGamer Staff

With a constant thread of tragedy running through the narrative and themes of overcoming hardship and finding acceptance, it should come as no surprise that some rather unpleasant things happen to—and are done by—the characters.

In the process, Fata Morgana delves into some subject matter not often broached by visual novels—or media in general. Because it’s such a special story to us, we want to make sure as many people as possible are able to enjoy the game on their own terms—without being blindsided by any potentially distressing content.

It goes without saying that there will be spoilers. Continue reading

A Look Into The House in Fata Morgana

fata-pre

Hey all, editor ritobito again! Last month, I walked you all through the demo content of The House in Fata Morgana––the first two chapters, to be exact. Now, with the game’s release impending, I’d like to show you what lies beyond the next two doors in the mansion. Like last time, I’ll try to touch on only the basics to avoid dropping any major spoilers, but if you’d rather go in blind, it should go without saying that you’re probably better off not proceeding. I-It’s not like I wanted you to read this post or anything. Hmph. Continue reading
