Introduction to the Tales of A Requiem for Innocence

Hello everyone! I’m Yukino (or just Yuki), and I was the translator and programmer in charge of The House in Fata Morgana, as well as its prequel-sequel-followup game A Requiem for Innocence. If that sounds confusing, don’t worry! I’m here to introduce each of the various episodes that make up the full package of A Requiem for Innocence.

[SPOILER WARNING: It’s not possible to talk about the contents of this game without touching on events that happen in the original The House in Fata Morgana, so there be spoilers beyond this point!]

Novectacle Anniversary Message

In honor of the one year anniversary of The House in Fata Morgana‘s English release, we have some comments from the developers!

Surprisingly enough, it’s been one year since The House in Fata Morgana launched on Steam and MangaGamer’s website! When it first went on sale we were worried about whether or not everyone would enjoy our work, but it turns out that we didn’t need to be at all. It is thanks to all of you that this title continues to spread. Because of your appreciation and recommendations to friends, the flames of this story burns ever brighter. We hope that everyone will continue to support us in the future, and the overwhelming gratitude we feel will be accurately conveyed to you in our next work. It will be a product related to The House in Fata Morgana, but also a new product for us at Novectacle.

We thank you all for your constant encouragement, from the bottom of our hearts.

The House in Fata Morgana Version 1.1 Update

fata2

Hey, everyone. We’ve got a little surprise for you today to celebrate the ongoing summer sale. Our friends at Novectacle have been hard at work behind the scenes polishing and enhancing The House in Fata Morgana, and we’re bringing you the first fruits of their ongoing efforts today.

The update includes minor script modifications, adjustments to Mell’s and Pauline’s sprites, and a complete overhaul of the sound effects. More than 75% of the game’s SFX have been replaced with higher quality effects, and the total number of unique SFX has been increased almost 2.5x, giving the game a much richer, more immersive soundscape.

The version 1.1 update is live on both Steam and the MangaGamer website right now. However, due to the scale of the update, you will have to redownload the game from your account page if you purchased it from the MangaGamer store. Steam customers should have the update automatically applied for them.
