  2. The plot line sounds pretty disgusting in my opinion. It could be interesting if we get a character study of the protagonist, but I doubt that one can expect something like that in a nukige title.

I don’t understand why it’s categorized as “Comedy”. Sounds more like it should be “Dark” or “Hardcore”.

    • It’s all presented in a pretty lighthearted way, and some of the scenes are goofy and OTT (e.g. he possesses a wall to grab her, in another he’s a kinky umbrella).

Also, we need to add a tag on the website because this one has animated ero.

      • Then I would recommend to you to change the text description of the game. Because if one just readr that one would never guess that this is a comedy title.
Maybe it’s just me, but I think that “That’s right, with a myriad monsters under my command, I will have no trouble ravaging Asuka! Once pregnant, her spiritual power will be reduced, and she will fall from the position of Boss!” sounds pretty dark…

      • That description sounds like a comedy to me. It’s over the top and too ridiculous to be serious.

Well, now, that was a quick turnaround. Hopefully SSSS isn’t too far behind, as that one looks a little more to my taste than Sexy Demon Transformation.

But I’ll not rule out of the possibility of buying this, as while I’m not a big fan of tentacles and raep, the art and character designs are excellent – better than any of the other nukige MangaGamer have released thus far by an order of magnitude.

  4. i kinda like the story she shrewed him over so its time for revenge i really dont mind dark storys if it is dark if it has a good reason for why the protanganist is being an evil douche

    • I dunno if it’s “time for revenge”. From what I’ve seen on the official site, it’s more that the protagonist is kind of an idiot and the lead female would probably be willing to sleep with him WITHOUT all the weird stuff getting involved.

I may be imprinting from a doujin game I played once, though. It contained a main character bent on REVENGE who was too dumb to realize that it was consensual.

      • For me it sounds like the protagonist is a big f*cking asshole.
The girl his revenge is targeted at doesn’t even know that he hates her for snatching away the position that (in his opinion) should have belonged to him. On top of that, it says in the description: “She is inferior to Yamato [(the protagonist)] in many points as an exorcist, but in regular life she spares no effort to take care of him.”
And he wants to impregnate her through rape. That doesn’t sound justified to me at all!

        • Ah, the great dilemma facing all of us in this business: that of trying to rectify Western sexual morality and advancements with Asian porn, which is all too happy to keep women subjugated and in the dark ages.

        • I would’ve thought the “Comedy” tag there on the catalog page made it pretty clear the game isn’t being serious =x

  5. @sloanereinja: That sounds interesting… Could you elaborate on that (maybe in a new blog entry)?

And btw, I think it’s not a question of Western sexual morality. Harming a person who hasn’t knowingly wronged you for merely personal gain is wrong no matter how you look at it.

And I’m not against a dark protagonist. For example, I’m reading MacBeth right now and I think he’s a really good anti hero. However, I don’t think that I can enjoy a visual novel that is told out of the first person perspective of a rapist, because that is a much more intimate experience than reading a book with an anti hero protagonist (like “The Perfume”).

    • Tell that to the people protesting Wallstreet. Those are people who were unknowingly wronged by someones attempt at personal gain.

  6. The problem is that the description doesn’t sound funny in the least. Duke Nukem Forever wanted to be a comedy as well, only it wasn’t.
