Announcements from Anime Expo 2017!

Today we’re proud to announce to several new acquisitions and major new enterprises!

But first we’re excited to announce that the sequel to Princess Evangile, Princess Evangile W Happiness is now available for pre-order on MangaGamer.com!

This fandisc sequel contains lots of new content including extra epilogues for the original cast of characters and brand new routes for Ruriko, Marika, Mitsuki, Tamie, and Konomi!

Order now and get 10% off before its available on Steam!

Speaking of Evangile, our first new acquisition comes from the same artist and developer, Yamakaze Ran and Moonstone––Magical Marriage Lunatics.

Life for Yuta Ushio was fairly normal. Well, aside from constantly being spirited away to other worlds as a kid. But that was a worry past––or so he thought until several women from different worlds sprung up alongside a new house that appeared in his backyard, each women claiming to be his fiance! With a proud vampire, a shy succubus, an open, honest tenko, a benevolent goddess, a tranquil witch princess, and his childhood friend all competing for Yuta’s hand in marriage, he won’t know peace again!

With lots of daily life events, comedy, culture references, and vibrant characters, Magical Marriage Lunatics is real treat for fans of Princess Evangile and Shuffle! alike. This cute and sexy coming of age story will be available on MangaGamer.com!

Our second announcement comes from fan-favorite Alicesoft, Evenicle! Featuring artwork by Yaegashi Nan of Senran Kagura fame, Evenicle is an adult RPG with a huge 3D world to explore, tons of monsters of face in battle (some of which can even be captured and wooed), a wide variety of skills to combine and exploit, and even advanced Megamonsters to challenge!

In a world where monogamy is ordained by the goddess, Mother Eve, those who would forsake her teachings or murder others lose her protection and become Outlaws, cursed with the inability to create or produce anything from their own efforts. But if a pair of twin sisters catch your fancy, there’s still one hope – become a powerful, heroic Knight and gain the exceptional right to marry more brides! Determined to score with both twins, Asterisk sets off to become great enough to marry many women! What adventures await him as he explores the world of Evenicle? What quests will he undertake for those he meets? Will he save the world? Create his harem? Possibly both?!

Find out in this titillating 3D RPG, coming soon, only to MangaGamer!

Next up is a title from our brand-new partner, Hermit! Written by the critically acclaimed author of White Album 2 and Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend, comes the classic masterpiece, The Most Forbidden Love in the World!

Sometimes the world can be a harsh place, as 28-year old Osamu learns when he’s wrongfully fired from his company. Jobless, penniless, and hopeless, he decides to take a stranger up on her kindness––only to find she’s eloped and left the boarding house she invited him to in the hands of her daughter, Mitoko. Mitoko isn’t the only quirk of the boardinghouse though. There’s also his forward new coworker, a scheming and wealthy young neighbor looking out for her friend, and Mitoko’s own homeroom teacher, who’s been having trouble with men in her private life. Can Osamu deal with all the eccentric women at his new place? Does he really have a choice? He’s courting misfortune and misery, but will that truly be all he finds in his new home? Enjoy a tale filled with romance, drama, and comedy!

Our next title is one brand-new and unannounced even in Japan! From the developers of the Da Capo and Dal Segno series, comes a brand new tale, Space Live!

Over 200 years in the future, humanity has abandoned reality and chosen to upload themselves into Net Space, a digital, interconnected world, divided into several factions surrounding different idols who compete every four years to win followers to their side. There’s Macro Space’s Ai E, a hardworking, easily flustered girl trying to regain her lost position; Goggle Space’s G Chrome, a logical competitor using her wealth and data troves in a bid to secure the lead; Mosaic Space’s Higitsune, a haughty, elusive idol enjoying the competition itself; Ai Space’s Sarifa, an eloquent fashionista willing to bet it all; and Luna Space’s Tsukikage, a minor idol hoping to finally gain some recognition.

A bit of a parody on the competition between internet browsers, Space Live will be a treat for any fan of idol shows like iDOLM@STER or Love Live, with great detail and emphasis placed on the concerts, venues, as well as different events for the idols to compete in like capture-the-flag and the Confession Competition.

Last but not least, those of us at MangaGamer are proud to announce we’ll be entering game development ourselves, with our very first title: Koropokkur!

Featuring Itaru Hinoue, the lead artist for AIR, Kanon, Clannad, and Rewrite, this new title Koropokkur will tell the tale of a young fairy and her journey to become human and fall in love.

Set in modern Akihabara, this heartwarming tale will feature many cute episodes as the heroine helps a young man save his cafe, all while struggling to avoid getting carried away by cats and birds when she accidentally reverts to her normal, miniature size. Will she ever manage to find love? Will she find what she needs to become human? Can she do it before her time runs out?

Koropokkur is planned for release on MangaGamer, Steam, and Japanese retailers. Development of Koropokkur will be funded through Kickstarter, so those looking to support it should follow MangaGamer on Twitter for news as it develops.

And that’s it for Anime Expo 2017! Thank you to everyone who attended and we hope to see more of you at Otakon! As always you can keep an eye on our upcoming event schedule and announcements on our convention schedule and announcements page.

  1. I really expecting Sakuranomori Dreamers, and… Ugh. But anyway, that’s a new moe game from Moonstone, nice! Hm… Is it based on fan-translation which wasn’t finished?

    • A lot of people were expecting Sakura no Mori † Dreamers.

    • Sakura no Mori Dreamers is still new and I’m sure there are earlier titles like Natsu no Iro no Nostalgia that are more appropriate to select after MML.

Speaking of Moonstone, they are preparing to release Sakura no Mori Dreamers 2 for Japan which will come out at the same time as W Happiness here.

    • Hi! The translation for Magical Marriage Lunatics is being done in-house, and is not based on the dropped fan translation.

  2. Evenicle is enough to win Anime Expo in my book.

  3. Wasn’t there a patch for Evenicle that let you play as Rance?

  4. Evenicle AND Damekoi? I love you guys <3

  5. Why Evenicle? Where is our Rance!

  6. I wonder what other Moonstone titles are next? I’m hoping for more of the side-branded titles (like Moonstone Cherry and Moonstone Honey).

  7. I’m still praying for Walkure Romanze series, hopefully Princess Lover as well but people said it’s a bad series… Oh well, I just want Walkure Romanze, pretty please~~ :3

  8. Hermit :O does this mean we can expect a White Album 2 translation as well at some pointr? *waku waku*

  9. How nice that there are no creepy announcements this time. Though we might get those at Otakon… ugh.

Anyway, glad about Magical Marriage Lunatics even if I expected Sakuranomori Dreamers. Also interested in Damekoi despite its age since it has adult characters for a change and seems rather well regarded. No interest in the other titles.

Overall, nothing really outstanding here. I hope for better stuff at Otakon.

  10. Still waiting for Oyako Rankan, or NTR from Alicesoft 🙁

  11. Why there is no eushully games

  12. Oh, man… I foresee a lot of my money flowing to your pockets in the future.

  13. Steam again, I hate that virus tool

  14. Evenicle, I can’t believe it! This still doesn’t satisfy me (RANCE QUEST MAGNUM damnit!!), but Evenicle is definitely a step in the right direction. Thank you for the wise choice!

  15. Unfortunately none of these are day 1 purchases for me, but I think Magical Marriage Lunatics and Evenicle look pretty good!

  16. Great announcements! All are either must buys or ones I want to learn more about. Really happy to see another Moonstone game. And thrilled that W Happiness is finally going to be released. I missed Chiho, Konomi, Tamie, and the rest of the girls.

  17. I was hoping for another r18 otome game annoucement but it’s okay. T__T I wonder when they will announce the release dates for little miss lonesome and sona-nyl.

  18. still waiting for another da capo series. We need dearest marriage and platinum partner

  19. So, which one is nukige?

  20. Still waiting for “If you love, then say so”

  21. Eushully title please.. really need more VN with RPG gameplay

But Evenicle is a great news anyway, thanks

  22. No imouto paradise 2 translation? :’c

  23. This is so lame, no announcements for any otome games. I wonder what was the point of doing that survey if you’re not going to localize any of the games that us fan girls want.
Sigh.. I regret having my hopes up, I shouldn’t have expected anything from you.
