After being confined to the royal castle for most her life, Luci has a newfound appreciation for the freedom and liberties that life in the human world have granted her. No longer does she have to live under the watchful eye of her strict (but loving) father. Yet she is not out of the woods yet, since an eloquent guardian bat named Dora has followed her to the human world in lieu of her father. Luci remains true to her heart’s desires, no matter what obstacles stand in her way. The world is her oyster and she will not stray from the path she has chosen. When her father opposes her pact with Yuta she doubles down, firmly stating that she wants to choose her own mate. Naturally, her father wants nothing do with the plebeian Luci has chosen. He wants only the best for the vampire princess that is fated to rule their world. After some fierce arguing, Luci’s father agrees to accept their pact if Yuta and Luci can find proof that Yuta can wield the strange power he is harboring deep inside. A power that first surfaced many years ago when Yuta visited Luci’s world and saved her from a monster.
Luci is constantly reprimanded by her tenko friend Karin and Dora for being too brash and overconfident. She starts mellowing out and becoming sweeter after spending more time with her beloved Yuta. With him she can experience the life of a commoner and not have to worry about maintaining her regal persona. After having lived most of her life as a shut-in at the castle she starts learning what it truly means to be a couple, giving way to some charming moments in the game.
But not all is right on the rosy path to marriage, as Yuta and Luci soon learn. Are vampire and humans truly meant to co-exist? Is there an obstacle that even the mighty Luci cannot overpower with her magical entrancing eye?
