I think I will wait a bit until an accurate VNDB rating has formed. If the title comes close or even exceeds the rating of SDT (5.83) I’ll consider it, if it’s amongst the much lower ratings of Boob Wars (5.44) and SSSS (5.39) I’ll pass on it.
Yes… because a number is the best way to describe how good or bad a game is. Next to that the troll voting and people whose votes won’t make any sense.
If you want to decide to buy a game or not, please read a review or general discussion. Because a number is just something you can give without any thought at all.
The numbers are relevant in this case because they exactly reflect my opinion. If the reviews for Throb will be okay the VNDB rating will be too.
The last two SHS titles were disappointments for me, therefore please don’t expect me to buy a pig in a poke anymore.

The EGS score for this game is surprisingly high…for a Softhouse-Seal game. It’s only one of two titles in their main brand that breaks 70 and has more than 30 votes. This is probably as close to a “good” Softhouse-Seal title as you’ll find.
That said, I’m still coming nowhere near it.
Actually I take that back. Their Grandee label seems to have all their best titles. They’re actually surprisingly popular with hundreds of votes and 70+ EGS scores. Curiously, Mangagamer hasn’t licensed any of these yet. 😛 I would actually (briefly) contemplate playing these.
This might surprise you but… softhouse-seal GRANDEE only does sequels of their successful games.
Well that explains why Mangagamer hasn’t licensed any of those titles so far.
Well, I’ve played a little bit of this game…and so far I’ve gotten more laughes out of this than the entirety of Super Secret Sexy Spy

Go to your account and check your Order Summary. On the summary for the VN you bought you will see a box that says, “Request Another Activation Code”. Select it and the code will display on the page. Copy and paste it into the DRM launch box and there you go.
Well, what if I got it for free? All that’s happening is a window popping up and saying “???????????????????? file://./c/users/owner/desktop/throbgreatestinventions/gamedata.xp3????????” without quotations, then a blue screen with a bunch of letters and numbers and other stuff pops up shortly after. I have no clue what to do. can someone help?
