Beat Blades Haruka’s Release Date Change

As you are all aware, we have been dealing with issues with our payment processor for the past week and a half. We have made every effort to get processing back up and running in time for Beat Blades Haruka‘s originally scheduled release date, but we will need just a little bit more time to get everything fully operational again.

As you may have seen on our social media outlets, we have found a new payment processor, and are making finishing arrangements with them now. At this time, we have tentatively rescheduled Beat Blades Haruka’s release date for February 29th, 2016. Also, due to these unforeseen issues, we will be extending the discounted pre-order price through the end of its release week!

We would like to thank you all for your patience, and for all the messages of encouragement you have been sending us for the past week. It really does mean a lot to all of us here at MangaGamer.

Notice Regarding Winged Cloud Titles

Regretfully, we must announce that MangaGamer will no longer be publishing Winged Cloud games, including the previously announced title, Sakura Dungeon. Due to intractable creative differences, we have been forced to let Winged Cloud go, and will no longer be able to offer support for their current or future titles.

Fans may still purchase Winged Cloud titles from us from now until February 29th, and those who do will be able to have access to the MangaGamer Editions, which were updated from their original source by our quality assurance team. These editions will no longer be available for public purchase after February 29th. Sakura Santa on Steam will be transferred to Winged Cloud’s new publisher and updated to their version of the title. If you would like to retain the MangaGamer version of the game, make sure you uncheck “automatic updates” for the game by February 29th.

Pay Processor Issues

You may be aware that for the weekend our website has been unable to process payments. We’ve been hard at work trying to remedy this issue, but it may take some time to resolve. The issue is a rather complicated one.

Over the past few months we have been suffering from a drastically heightened number of fraudulent purchases using stolen credit cards on our site. The fraudulent activity has been focused almost exclusively on games that come with Steam keys, with the intent to re-sell on third party websites. Continue reading

Princess Evangile Hardcopy Preorders Open!

We’re excited to announce that we’re going to be releasing a limited edition hardcopy for Princess Evangile! The limited edition will come with the game, the soundtrack, a 40 page mini-artbook, and a Steam key for the all-ages version! Preorders are now open. Expect it out on December 28th.

You’re probably wondering why the release date is so far off, well… we’re doing something a little special this time around. In addition to the limited edition of the game, we’re going to be producing a special wallscroll––a wallscroll you all are going to be selecting the design for!

From now through next Monday head on over to the Princess Evangile Election Page to vote for your favorite Princess Evangile girl. The winning girl will be featured on the wallscroll––which you’ll be able to preorder with the limited edition of the game at a discount, or purchase on its own. We’ve provided campaign banners on the election page so you can help get the word out to promote your favorite. The winner and the winning design will be unveiled next Tuesday!
