  1. Great. Just wondering why Dengeki Stryker is on the list when Chou Dengeki Stryke was promised to be released several months ago.

    • It would be nice if it were ready, but it’s still with OVERDRIVE for scripting. I don’t think there was any promised release date though!

      • That’s right. But when the new site launched (or on a mock-up) it showed a banner with “Chou Dengeki Stryke” out this summer! With that and confirmation (don’t remember who said it), people sure got excited.

I think in the next year MangaGamer needs to be careful with statements towards game releases. Just like the Patch for “World End Economic Episode 1” which would come somewhere in July and still hasn’t been released. I don’t blame MG or the translation team involved for that, but these kind of examples are real let downs.

        • Well, it’s not just fans who are upset about the delays on those two titles. OVERDRIVE went through some rough spots after BokuTen’s release, which is why Chou Dengeki got delayed, but we can at least confirm progress on Chou is once again being made. We’re still trying to discern what the delay on Economica is, though.

      • @MangaGamer: Do you already know how expensive Chou Dengeki Stryker is going to be?
I’m a poor college student so I try to get the best deal possible. It would suck if I buy the game now and afterwards find out that I could have gotten it cheaper if I’d bought the bundle…

        • We’re estimating that Chou Dengeki will be $45 brand new (IE for those who don’t own Dengeki.) Those who already own Dengeki will be able to upgrade for $25. (Note: Those prices are estimates, and they ARE NOT set in stone, thus are subject to change.)

  2. Ye wondering the same, I really wanna buy Chou Dengeki Stryker! ๐Ÿ˜€ Besides that awesome list and I am sure many people will use this opportunity.

    Merry Christmas everyone!

  3. So VERY awesome – thank you!

  4. Woah! A christmas sale till the end of the year. I have to pick at least one title before it ends.

  5. Just a little question : Can we buy something for another person who don’t have an accounpt(present)???
I mean is it a sort of service (or something like this) or do we command the game and give it after ???

    • Gifting games is something we’ve been looking into, but I’m not sure it’s entirely possible given the current website operations. I think it was on the list behind getting the hard-copy section up and running. For now though, if you’re interested in buying a game as a gift to a friend, you can contact us at support@mangagamer.com and we can try to figure out a way to help you personally.

  6. Just picked up Deardrops and Koihime Musou.

  7. First World Problems: Already have all the VN I wanted (that are now on sale)…

But nice sale for the people that still have some VN’s on their wishlist. Now’s the time to get them.

Also happy holidays to the entire MG team.
