Seabed is a yuri-themed mystery visual novel told through the perspectives of three separate characters: Mizuno Sachiko, a designer plagued by hallucinations of her past lover; Narasaki Hibiki, Sachiko’s friend and a psychiatrist researching the workings of human memories; and Takako, Sachiko’s former lover who has been rapidly forgetting her past, including how or why the two women drifted apart despite being together since childhood.
All three live in different worlds, but seek the same goal. To separate truth from illusion. To make sense of their own lives.

I’m interested in SeaBed because it seems like a combination of things which sound fascinating. First, the characters are clearly adults — not full-time or part-time students. Second, it sounds like the story will involve relationship conflicts, but that it will not focus on a protagonist choosing one of several love interests. Finally, it appears that the characters will deal with both internal and external conflicts (dealing with problems from their past, as well as a mystery).
I have enjoyed a number of VNs which just focused on the protagonist’s relationships and which didn’t explore any other themes. For instance, I read Tokimeki Check-in several times and liked it. That said, I’m hopeful for SeaBed because it’s an original Japanese language visual novel that sounds offbeat and thoughtful.
